PROCEDURES FOR
MUSIC SUBMISSION
 

V-103 WVEE  Music Submission Policy

  1. V-103-WVEE accepts new music submissions via CD. All material music must be copyrighted prior to submission.
  2. Music must be “broadcast quality”, professionally produced and mastered in a professional studio.
  3. All music must be properly “edited” for broadcast. 
  4. Profanity, violence and sexual content must be properly censored in order for airplay consideration.
  5. CDs can be sent to the following address:

  6. V-103 accepts no “master” copies of an artist’s music in any format.  No music submitted to V-103 for consideration may be returned.

 

V-103 ADD/Airplay Policy

  1. V-103 adds new music to its airplay/mix-show play lists based on local audience music research, requests, Local/Regional/National “building stories”, music Video performance and each song’s individual ability to “fit” the sound of V-103. 
  2. Music Day follow up calls are accepted Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 1 pm. Please call 404-898-8900 and you will be directed to appropriate person. Visits to station on Thursday’s from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. You must be signed in by 11AM. Music Meetings will be done in 5 minute intervals.  Only one person per artist will be seen and please make sure it has been mixed and mastered. Please call 404.898.8900 if you have any questions. 
  3. V-103 reserves the right to refuse airplay for any song or artist. 
  4. V-103 does not accept any gifts, cash, goods or service in exchange for airplay.  
  5. V-103 does not guarantee a length of time or “spins” for any song added to its play list.
  6. V-103 listening audience determines the amount of exposure songs/artists receive.
